I bought the table from someone in my same town, Monument. If I knew I was going to fall into a bit of good luck, which NEVER happens, I would have went with a new table, with someone like Diamond, etc; but I didn't know until almost a week after.
Anyway, brown (taupe) was not my first choice either, but I'm no fan of any type of green. I had to make a few consessions to even get a table, although I was told "it's my room". I prefered something in the blueish or gray/black range, but didn't get my wish, but at least I have a table now.

As far as cues go, check out the wanted/for sale section of the forum. this section is EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!!
As far as advise goes, you'll get it here in spades. But word to the wise, watch out for the following characters:
cocobollo cowboy: he's a tad goofy but harmless and lovable:wink:
watchez: don't bet him on anything, he has crystal balls and he knows how to use them!!:yes:
jay helfert: claims he gave the pope the last 5, but I think he's lying buy Jay's book "Pool Wars" and you'll know why KK9 will regret making this statement about Jay:yikes:
Shooting Arts: claims he built the golden gate bridge with a ball peen hammer
and a lathehe did and you'd better believe him as he's from around New Orleans and you know not to mess with anyone from around there
The420Trooper: don't believe anything he posts after 1 pm not true - take a look at 420's avatar and you'll know that whatever he posts - any time of the day or night is WAY cool man
Ok, well that's all the wisdom I can offer at the moment. Spread your wings and fly grasshopper!
