Does anyone know if the person that runs "Nielsen's Billiards" on the bay is an AZ Member? I am looking for a McDermott I-2 shaft with matching rings for my cue of the year. Thanks y'all!

Is there a reason you just could'nt drive a few miles to the McDermott factory and have them make you a shaft?

Since you are looking for a shaft with matching rings I think your best bet is to buy a partial I-2 shaft send it to the builder and have him do the matching ringwork. I did that with my Kikel cue and Dave was happy to comply with my request. Joe Neilsen may have the partial or can probably order one and may be able to drop ship it directly to the builder. Just make sure the shaft is inspected prior to having custom ringwork added just to be sure it is perfectly straight.
I like the I shafts and have about four of them, they are lighter than the average shaft and you can contact Jamie at McDermott for info regarding there weight.

Can't go wrong with Joe at Nielson's.. he will beat every price and does honor a 5% discount for AZB'ers.. unbelievable customer service and always a pleasure to do business with. I've emailed him at 3am before and received an immediate reply.. simply above the rest as far as I'm concerned.

With all the idiots and unreasonable people that are out there, he would have to be absolutely top notch in every way to maintain 100% positive feedbacks with over 16,000 transactions, and his customer service would have to be way above and beyond what would be considered normal good customer service.
