No press coverage at DCC?

Unless I am mistaken, there is not the usual AZBTV, Inside Pool Press Box, nor any others video reporting from the Derby.

I was kinda getting used to the coverage of past events; US Open.
 
The start of the DCC came & went with nary a whisper. I can’t believe the only knowledge I had of the largest gathering of pool characters was received from my fellow AZB’ers and TAR.

Where was the industry buzz to get people excited?

What great entity will help this industry grow when the leaders can’t help themselves?
 
I posted a similar thread and caught a bunch of gruff. I agree with you the reporting is none existent
 
I can't imagine none of the magazines has anyone there. That would be huge blunder. I expect to see a write up next month in each.
 
Times are tough right now. And a 9 day event is tough to deal with it at the moment. I was getting bracket updates from the event, but I understand that they are having computer issues and I am not sure when my brackets will resume. Diana Hoppe is getting there today, so I expect to get updates from her very soon.

As for the magazines, BD usually doesn't get there til the later stages of the event. I am sure they will be there before the 9-ball starts.
