It’s not unreasonable. It is improbable. Any large audience starts exhibiting behaviors that map to a bell curve. You might get 97% of the audience to comply but you won’t get the last 3% to. The question is whether moderators have the interest to accept the suggestion as a rule and the energy to enforce it.

You are right.
It is unreasonable for us to expect someone who averages as much as 75 posts a day to stay away from the forum until it's convenient for him to catch up, while we throttle back our enthusiasm. /s
