Hi Rich...unless i missed it i don't see our own Keith McCready's name on the list... i sure do hope everything is ok with Keith and Jen...............mike
Mike, that camp has been very quiet lately. I too hope that everything is OK with them and that we see them at the Open.

My guess is everything is fine-JAM likes to take her breaks from here and IMHO doesnt want to be drawn into the "where are the checks?" discussions currently going on.

BTW-Is that Open Warmup tourney going on at Great Slates?

The Scottish contingent.

Wow... I'm usually fairly swift to respond, but I guess age is creeping up on me...

Just to say: Keep an eye on Scotland's representative, Jayson Shaw. This young talent could re-write the book.

Qualified for IPT Reno aged 17.

Turned 18 at Reno.

After 1 IPT event is now ranked #72 on the IPT ranking list after defeating some 'serious' opposition such as: Tony Drago, Rudolfo Luat, Johnny Archer & Tommy Kennedy.

Guaranteed an IPT Tour Card for 2007.

Not too shabby for an 18 year-old, no?

And then... won the the Scottish Qualifier for the 2006 US Open!

Be afraid. Be respectful. And most importantly... have a bowl of porridge for breakfast if you're unlucky enough to be drawn against Jayson. He means business.

BS

We may be all those things, less porridge eaters. WTF?!?!

did I miss Troy Frank on that list? He's a perenial Open casher. Maybe he used up his resources with the IPT. Hope not, he's beat dang near every player on the list at one time or another.

Yep!

Too bad the World Summit tourney didn't happen in NYC this week. In yrs past the players would stop in Cambridge on their way to VA.... I expect some high calibur players but not as many from the south as there were last yr. Now it's out of their way since they're not coming from NYC. :( We'll just have to wait & see.

You might laugh... In fact you probably should laugh.

Just recently McDonalds added porridge "Oats So Simple" to their breakfast menu. In Glasgow, at least.

Since then, I've been a born-again porridge eater. And my mates too.

You should petition for porridge availability at McDonalds in the US too. Trust me, it's worth it. Makes your day.

Better than grits anyway...

BS

Dave, I hope your right about Jam and Keith. I guess we will know in a few days.

Also, the Warmup tourney at Great Slates is scheduled for this coming weekend, as usual. I wish I could be there. :(
I'll see you at the Open, next week. :D

Tony Watson is not on the list, as yet. But I talked to him last night and he said he's definitely going. He's really playing great too. Keep an eye on him.
