However, I have seen Allison play at times when I thought she was playing better than the average male I see playing on tour. I think her game would be consistently challenging for any male on tour. All of us have had bad days like the one on the video. Some of the negative comments here regarding females abilities to play in general are naive at best. I think that the separation in play comes down to a few things. First, more men play pool than women. It is the same reason europe is better at soccer. Everyone over there plays it, and we don't care much about it. Few women really like pool. Secondly, there are some reaction and physical qualities that men are innately better at, however, I do not think these play that much of a factor in pool. Consistency and mental toughness are more important. Thirdly, men are taller on average making it easier to reach all shots. This probably is not that big a factor, but it may play a small role. Pool is propbably one of the few games where the physical dominance of men just play that big a role. I used to think that it still would, but as I watch more and more pool, I just don't think it does. It really boils down to the fact that more men play, giving them a better chance to have someone that is really good.

tell them to get up and bet something, have asked both to play before when they came to my room for a tourney, and they both asked for weight and would not consider playing even! and i'm just the average male player! so you can bring your purse with you whenever you would like to stake them!!!!!!!!!!!! lolgromulan said:

I think we just had a video of two players having a bad day, which could happen to any man. Two years ago, Efren Reyes could not even get out of his group in the World Pool Championship. I was there watching those matches live, it was weird to see how the greatest player of our time kept missing shots after shots.
Anyway, I like this web site, the videos are awesome!

they played in tourney and ran out the door when they were finished! would have gladly given some weight, they didn't want to match up. but i'm sure they would sometime, they're both pretty good players. i wasn' t trying to knock them, was mainly joking! lolgromulan said:
