Nobody can beat the mantis!

He's a talented dude. I'm sure on trick shot magic he beats shane to death, and in 10b shane beats him to death. Some pretty cute shots that look like they must have taken lots of tries. But stuff like 5 rail banks into the side isn't as impressive as the extreme masse shots like his opener. In that category I think venom's got him beat.

Do you guys think this one was intentional, or he was just trying a regular straight-back (as a wing shot) and caught a funny fluke on camera?

The shots off the corners of the corner pocket were by far the best ones. If you can sit there and vocally say "WOW" out loud.... You did something remarkable. I'll give him a +B in the trick shot world :)

it was intentional, since he tapped his hand to show where the ball goes!
As far as Venom, I don't know, I met the dude in Vegas and saw a few of his shows. He barely can make a ball on a first try. He called some nice shots, but made them only on a 15-th 2- ieth try.. Praying mantis makes all his shots on the first try!

Yes, but maybe his goal was to send the ball straight into the corner he tapped, without touching the side rail. Hitting that tiny nipple? On a wing shot? And getting it to hit just right and bounce into the corner? Come on.

Yes, come on! that's what I thought! but he does it shot and shot after shot, without doubting. Just calls the ball and makes it! On the first try all the time!
 
There's no need to be jeaulos, the guy can shoot pool! On the first try, just throw a ball on the table and ask him where to put it, he will.
 
If I'm ever in his area I'll have to watch it live. He must never miss the regular shots then :o The only way I can win is if he shoots while rollerblading continuously around the table and even then I may need a spot.
