HERE ARE 2 OF THE FANCIEST CUES MIKE EVER MADE........ When I was able to talk some sense into Mike, and convince him that he should start making his own cues again, he said he would and put a #1 on it for me.

The box style was a collaboration and took him about 6 months to finish. Well worth the wait.........I still think about Mike at least once every day....and I think I always will

Steve,
Those are 2 of my 3 favorite MC's. And I think about him all the time also. Above everything else, I miss our conversations about poilitics, women and golf. Rarely did we ever talk cues. He was as fine a human being as there will ever be. Sad what happened. But if I know him like I think I do, he is playing golf and having a fat cigar wtih the big man right now. Take care of yourself and I will never tire of seeing these 2 cues. Wish I was close to you so I could drop by and lay my own eyes on these beauties.

Isn´t there a speaking in the US: Only the best are going early???

This would be an example for that...

The box cue is simply unbelievable...nice cues. I've had the occasion to meet Mike at Tim's shop on several occasions and he always made me feel welcome. He was on only a great cue maker but a wonderful person as well.

i am happy to see these great cochran cues
i have one of my own,but it is a plain 4 point with african blackwood into straight grain.
Mine makes me smile and think nice thoughts
yours makes me break out in a big grin

as far as i am concerned that box cue is the nicest cue in the world

Steve,

Thanks for sharing. Just WOW!

It would be nice to have a get together for Mike's friends and others with an
appreciation of his work at Valley Forge. Just to show off some TS/MC cues and remember the man.
