What would or could you do if you sold a brand new item on E-Bay and the person receives the item but does not leave a feedback? Then you E-MAIL them and ask them to please leave a feedback and they do not respond...Forget about it???

If the buyer has completed their part of the bargain... communicated in a timely manner and paid in full, what's left to wait on as far as the buyer is concerned when it comes to leaving them feedback? They did what they were supposed to do, right? Unless I'm missing something, there's nothing else left to "grade" them on.Irish634 said:Another possible scenario is the buyer is waiting for you to post your feedback first. Happens to me quite a bit.

Or it is from a major powerseller who has too many to do and doesn't feel the two hours of leaving feedback helps him any. I have bought several items from Joe Rackem (Neilsen) and not sure if he has left any anytime. i have left several. Just have to deal with it I guess.

I give you exactly the same feedback as you give me within 48 hrs."
This TOTALLY rubs me the wrong way and this person will not get feedback from me.

Klopek said:Usually means buyer was unhappy with the buying experience but didn't want to leave a bad feedback comment for fear of retaliation. If you ask or expect feedback and ask in the wrong way, you might anger the buyer and they'll drop a nice feedback bomb on you. Best to leave these things alone and tread lightly. Asking for feedback almost always backfires.
BTW - I'm sure your auction was legit and you shipped what you advertised. Some buyers are never happy.
