Although we seem to be agreement that you are a babbling buffoon, the truth is that we really aren't fond of each other at all. When this is all said and done, other people will have the last laugh - not me or Timberly - hopefully it will be the players, not the tour promoters or anyone else. The players deserve to have some laughter in their lives. They deserve security and they deserve to relax, knowing that they have people that they can count upon. You guys didn't deliver that. I think you didn;t deliver it on purpose.
You see, Jasper - there are people in this world that genuinely care for other people. They are not motivated by money, greed, political gain, or getting away with collecting dishonest profits for personal gain. That is what separates people like you from the people that actually care about pool.
There were people within the IPT infrastructure that were hired for the sole purpose of destroying people's lives. Instead of fighting back, the victims merely stayed quiet, thwarting the attacks one by one and effectively dealing with the consequences on a daily basis while the people in Chicago laughed and cracked jokes and made up names that they could toss out at the players meetings. How mature.
There has been no long term permanant damage to anybody except the IPT staff, mainly KT and Deno. I don;t feel sorry for anybody involved with that, including some of the players that have defended the IPT. They are just as shallow as KT IMO.
I won't pretend to know who you are - I really dont care. I think Timberly has accurately described you. I'm sure that soon, Eydie will spill the beans and some will care - but does it really matter? You're part of the trash that has tried to upset and destroy the lives of people that have done nothing but pour their hearts and lives into something that they love dearly. You can only kill the dreams of the weak. You can only discourage the quitters. You can only defeat people that have no survival skills. You can't win against the true winners. They scare the hell out of you. That is why you need to destroy their reputations.

If I haven't told you before, thanks for bringing that story to life. If nothing else, you people have awakened the sleeping giants and given them a newfound spirit and motivation.

It just amazes me that other threads are deleted and this one stays. I've never complained about the worthiness of a thread before but, in light of recent threads being deleted because some people "just didn't like them", I'm curious as to who actually likes this thread (other than jasper), and why haven't the thread police complained to the mods about this one, yet they complain about others?

Ditto for the decision on suspending or banning posters from the forum. Bernie, for example, was suspended for creating too many "non-sensical" threads. However, there are other posters such as Jasper who are just as bad as Bernie, if not worse. IMO, further clarification from the moderators is needed so that decorum standards are applied fairly and uniformly.
I agree that there should be some kind of consistency on deleting posts. The ones that are offensive, etc. have no place on here. But, I dont really mind the ones like Bernie was posting. So what if he posts alot, if you dont want to read it, then just dont read it. He wasnt causing any harm to anyone and certainly wasnt being offensive. i thought they were kinda humorous. JMO.

Threads that start on topic and take on a life of their own are different than threads which start as pure nonsense. Don't litter would be my advice. If you are going to post then try and make it poignant to some degree. A fictional parody of the IPT is art - a drunken rant is obnoxious. So says the arbiter of taste.
Actually, it's only a few button clicks to move on. Aren't we all trained from birth to channel surf anyway. Are we really going to be upset by having to click out of a thread that doesn't interest us? Unpopular threads don't take long to leave the front page anyway and complaing about them within them keeps them up. People on forums vote with the reply button. That's really the fairest standard.
I personally like the Craig's List way of doing it. Any post on CL can be flagged as inappropiate and if they get enough flags then viola, it's gone. But the community does not get to "see" that a post has been flagged it is either there or not. Then there's a little note when it's gone, that the post has been removed by the community. Simple and effective. The other thing that could be helpful to encourage better content would be to have Ebay style feedback points. Let the community decide and self-filter the ones who don't add value. Get enough negative feedback and poof you and your posts are gone. Perhaps this will encourage people to stay on topic and off each other's personalities.
