Not throwing any more challenges on the Internet

My vision has been deteriorating and I can`t pocket the balls well.Even though I was nobody in the pool,in the past I posted on the Billiard Forms challenging some top pro players( Keith McCreedy grudge match in 9 Ball even game;Charlie williams even game in 9 Ball,but the player has to shoot in 7 seconds;Ronnie O`Sullivan jacked up one handed-Snooker 3 frames to be played in London;recently,ofcourse, indirectly to :cool: Tony Drago if he is in USA).For reasons known,,I did not get any responses to those challenges even though I was dead serious and was ready to post those big monies.My vision has been on the down hill course and the speed picked up in the last 2 months and finding difficult to play.
I AM NOT throwing any more challenges to any pro Players.

Now you sound like the Old has been.

Must be a gathering of pool players coming up.

All of a sudden everyone is old, injured, blind, etc.

It is not all of a sudden....finally I am accepting and bowing down to the power of the Nature.

Get your cataracts removed and you will be playing once again like the old days. I can say this for certain, for I had mine removed (piece of cake) six months ago and now have the vision of when I was a teen ager!

I think we need to talk more about having 'Senior leagues',
senior tournaements (Oklahoma City has one), and
senior tours. Either that, or start giving us seniors a
handicap discount ...lol

No, really, all the guys I have shot Pool with for 20-30 years,
we all are starting to get up there, and I think some consideration
needs to be given to all of us aging Poolplayers.

We could call it the 'Silver League' ... lol
 
Well I haven't played seriously for so long I've forgotten the rules.

Still I'll play for a few bucks, just for fun and to get some enthusiasm for the game again. I don't mind losing at all, just like to play good players.

haha.

Reminds me of Oldhasbeen saying he just happened to be popping through town visiting his wife's sister :p

I am younger than u.Cataracts were removed from both the eyes by very good surgeons.I am legally blind in the left eye.I guess that I am not lucky.

Vagabond, I'm truly sorry to hear you are experiencing this degradation in your vision. I know your dedication to the game and the pleasure you get from playing it and can only imagine how upsetting it must be to know that you are powerless to prevent it being taken from you.

I had the pleasure of having getting introduced to (and beaten at of course) One Pocket by Vagabond a while back and no matter what happens to his vision I will always be happy to make time to play with him, he is a scholar and a gentleman.

Yo come to clucks in providence,N.C. you get all you want. It is on the Va.line off of hwy 86. Just ask the bartender you need a game.

Well I guess I'll have to step up and challenge you then. One pocket, 14.1, 9-ball, 8-ball, or Irish billiards FOR ANY AMOUNT YOU WANT (up to $1 a game) in Betmore's Basement. While you may think this challenge is beneath you and not worth your time, at least the room, board, pool, and beverages are free. Stop by some time, I'm close to an interstate.

What are u giving up 14.1 and 9 ball?Tomorrow I am going to call my agent and find out whether any one needs my services in Newcastle.who knows...I was being processed to go to Pensacola,FL after returning from CamanIslands.But they did not have funds to provide remuneration for my services. :cool:

What the hell...for $1 a game, I will spot Efren 9-7 and the breaks in one pocket....or give him the last two in 9-ball............(for at least 100 games anyway)..... :D :D

I'm giving up the breaks in 14.1. In 9-ball, I'll spot you the wild 10.

P.S. - A friend of ours says you should be spotting me, even if you're shooting with your eyes closed.
