So, last night during 9-ball league, one of the opposing players was about to hit a 3 ball combination.
Opposing Player: I'm going to play the 2 into the 9 into the 7.
My teammate: You don't have to call it.
Opposing Player: Oh yeah, that's right.
My teammate: You just have to hit the 2-ball first.
So, the player stepped up to the 2-ball, lined it up and fired away. Right at the 2-ball. The cueball was still 4 feet away at the head of the table. LOL!!!!
I guess it could or should have either been some kind of repositioning of the table or a loss of game, but we decided just on a ball-in-hand penalty and my teammate ran out. The table was wide open after all.
Later on, that same player was using the bridge on the 4-ball. Yup. Just about to pull the trigger again when the whole bar was shouting out "you have to hit the cueball first!!!"
The worst I've done was I picked up a ball and tried to chalk my stick with it.
