Comes up from time to time that people wanna see a one pocket match in the TAR studio. I believe Justin has mentioned that he thinks a one pocket match wont sell. Should be interesting numbers to see how many buys what day package etc. pretty make or break for future one pocket matches no?

Ok, I get it. I talked to Alex earlier in the week about playing a big money match in Dallas against another player (which I won't mention who) he said that he's already committed to play a big match in Vegas and he didn't tell me who against. Wow!!! This figures to be a great match and i'll be sure to watch it. I like both Alex and Francisco, may the best player win.

Billy I.

The all around format allows us to do some one pocket without taking all the risk of a one hole only match. I can only think of three possible one pocket only matches we would do.

It would be some combination of Shane/Frost/Efren.

Great format, and player choice! I'll preorder DVD or flash drive files right now if it's an option.

I agree, great lineup and format

My money is on the Filipino!;)

The Canadian plays pretty sporty also.

I like the format, Justin...I hope you get a pleasant surprise about 1-pocket.

Maybe that is a good way of trying straight pool also....
...one of three games in an all-round.

You might be surprised there also.

I feel 9-ball was promoted since the 60's because the intelligence of the
viewer was under-estimated.....paint-by-numbers pool has no depth....
Dumbing down has no long range influence.

pt..<..imo, of course

Justin,
WICKED! Two questions:
1. Are you gonna play 3 days even if someone wins first two?
2. What was the date for TAR34 and is it "Firm"?

Nick

A remedy for that if they want to play all three days and make sure people get to see all game formats, they could do the first day 8 and 9 ball, first one to the half way point stops that game and they move on to the other, play to the halfway point in that one. Play one pocket the second day, then flip a coin to see which they finish first on the third day, 8 or 9 ball.

Nobody would bother watching the first day that way. How about if a player won both first 2 days they could just do an exhibition match featuring Pinoy Rotation 3rd day. It could be more of a game introduction of sorts with a more relaxed mood. Or they could do a skills challenge too but I don't know if people would be interested in that.
