The OB-2's pretty much hold the same as the OB-1's. Shafts with a brass insert like the 14's 18's and UniLoc's are right at 3.6 to 3.8 ounces. Shafts that don't have the insert ar a little lighter at 3.4 to 3.6 ounces.
Even though the OB-2 is smaller overall on the outside, the inside dimensions are a little different due to the new core.
Thanks!

I had one and honestly felt like it hit like mud.

Unfortunately no, I can't make one that heavy. At least not without just adding something heavy at the joint which would detract from the playability.
The long thinner taper we use on both our cue shafts means that there is just not as much maple there.
