Odega Break Tips

It's only been a couple of hours since I had an Odega tip installed on my Predator Break cue but so far I like it VERY much.

I don't know if it is because it is a great tip or if my practicing with the BreakRak has helped improve my breaking skills, but I am smashing the balls and can't wait to see what my speed is with the breakRak.

Maybe in a week or so I will take it out to test it. In the meantime, hitting the cue ball and breaking like Godzilla, is FUN. (probably hit 21 tonight. :p)

Still, I like the tip. I even played a couple of 9 ball racks with it, making balls and playing shape with the odega tip on the BK2.

I have been very pleased since I put mine on the X-Breaker. Wade makes a great tip and it jumps just as well as it breaks.

Awesome tips have one on my purple heart j/b....wade is the man for tips

Best tips

Now there are some great things ding said about odega tips. I use to use samsara tips until I bought a Purple Heart jump/break cue from Marc Oelslager, which came with an Odega tip. It jumps amazingly, and had to put one on my OB break cue. I have spent time talking with Wade, and he is a perfectionist when t comes to his tips. I can't wait for him to perfect a playing tip.

I was shooting regular shots with the Odega tip on the BK2 and I could draw the ball, follow etc. The only thing I didn't do was to try a full length cue, jump shot and masse.

Maybe I was just having a good night but I was smashing the balls, squatting the rock. It felt good. I was so pumped I decided to really let it fly one time and mustered everything I had hit the rack like a spastic Johnny Archer and the cueball flew off the table with nearby people looking frightened. :embarrassed2: I chilled and made a couple of more breaks and put the break cue away.

Maybe it was "new tip" syndrome. Only time will tell.

Thanks to those who recommended this tip. I bought two and will keep this one as backup in case something happens to this one.

I'm pretty sure no one in South Louisiana has one of these break tips. I'm not sorry having tried it for sure.

neVER TRIED THE TIP, BUT THE BREAK-RAK

g-dAMN cAPS lOCK!

The Break-Rak is a definite buus to breaking skills. Sounds like you might have found a dubble-whammy bump up. Helfert needs the last three. Playing 6b. Don't even try a retort...gonna be winner breaks too.

Can't help myself.......retort a'coming.

Jay,
Tell this fool you don't need no stinkin' weight playing 6 ball. :D

I am breaking better.

It might just be the Break Rak and the practicing of the break but nevertheless when I do smash the balls, I holler, O-DAAAAAAAAAAAAY-GA, especially when I make a ball on the break and squat the rock. :D My opponent just looks at me like I've lost my mind. :p

They are an excellent break tip, but. I emailed for a price list and the asking price was not anywhere close to being reasonable for an average repairman.

You would have to order an unreal amount of tips before one would get a tiny break in price, and then, I would have to feel like I was screwing my customers to even make a bit on an install. Like, his asking price for one tip was what the average repairman would charge a customer for an install for one tip. No money to be made, except on his end anyway.

I said thanks but no thanks. I will stick with Super Pros and Mad Man tips.

His tips are good but not that good that would warrant an asking price like that.

Unless his colon has the ability to turn them to Gold, well, thats where he can keep them.

It's a great tip for breaking but an even better tip for jumping. Full cue jumps are rock solid and medium range jumps are almost as good as my G-10 tip. I'll definitely take the G-10 tip for close up jumps.

The G-10 tip is the best that I have tried for jumping balls. It's almost effortless and it works pretty well on Valley bar table balls for me.
