Oscar's on the board with a win. I just noticed that he is sporting a slightly longer haircut. It looks good on him, don't you think?

No problem, Sean.

As long as the U.S. is leading, I know that Roy's cocky strut has been reduced to a hobble and that's all that matters to me.

this is the perfect opportunity for Oscar and a brilliant pick by Varner and team USA. If Oscar loses then it's no biggie, he was supposed to lose to Ralf. If he wins then the Cup may be over.

Either way, it now forces Ralf to sit during the singles matches on day 2 and 3.

I wish people would read the Cup rules before they weigh in with opinions. Obviously Varner wouldn't have picked Ralf if he knew that Ralf could play in more than 1 singles match.

Oscar is testing the consistency ON TOP of the rails -- afterall, his dad is one of the top table mechanics in the country...

On day 3, match 14 and match 15, you will most likely see both Ralf Souquet and Mika Immonen in action in single matches again.

I don't think Oscar thinks he is supposed to lose to Ralf and neither do I.

The pick to bring Ralf to this match might prove fortunate for the U.S. Team and only time will tell.

I just believe in momentum and in keeping their key players on the bench while the momentum is going our way.
