I like the pick of Ralf because it puts his straight shootin ass against our worst player. It puts Oscar in a win/win situation where he can free wheel with no pressure. It also sits Ralf down for the remaining singles matches. Very Smart, imo.

While I didn't know that Ralf would have to sit out all of the remaining single matches I'm a believer of momentum. I just don't like giving, arguably, either of two of the best tournament players in the world a chance to change that momentum when it is so in favor of the U.S. Team.

Every single player on these two teams are great players. I wouldn't give Ralf who is looked at as the leader of the European Team the opportunity to give this BEAT DOWN EUROPEAN team a chance to reverse the momentum. (and possibly a chance to regain the team's confidence.) If anyone could do it, Ralf could.

Roy starts seeing some light....hahaha

I think 3 balls have to go past the head string, pocketed balls count towards that.

Cripe, 5 balls went past the friggin center of the table and he hit them hard. They need to figure that rule out better because in no way did he hit those with a soft break. That rule is way too gimmicky, with some unlucky kisses you could have an illegal break on a very well hit rack.

I can think of 3 or 4 players that would have made much more of an impact for the american team than Oscar. How did he make it onto the team?

High tourney finishes put him way up on the points list. I like the new blood on the team. We needed a change.
