well ive decided to not post so much. it seems the people who like to argue also dont like logic. mabey whoever runs this forum can let some people know that certain attitudes are not a good for buisiness. i know if this were a pool room that they would be told to stop or go somewhere else . but mabey why they come here is cause they can be rude and get away with it. be glad this is not my site guys cause with some of these responses with no reason i would not tolerate. im sure it happens alot. i will still look and make some posts but not as much

Hi Mark! I don't think you post too much. I like to read your posts! The nature of any Forum is disagreement and that just comes with the territory. If I were to say the best playing cue in the world is a Falcon cue... I could expect to get a zillion guys saying...no,no,no. Everyone has their own outlook on things, it does not mean they are bad people but, passion drives them and their views on things is all. Hope this explains it for you!

I hope the negative people on this board don't drive you away. I'm sure that there is a lot of interesting pool stuff you could share with us if you wanted to. I hope you get back into the game. I confess I know nothing of your records or accomplishments, having just started playing a bit more in the last year and a half, but I have heard your name mentioned a few times in tones that suggest that you were a special player. While Mark's use of text & typing skills may not be the most desirable, his ability and knowledge within this sport is a fresh welcome to this board. Perhaps your use of the English language is better than his, but that does not make you better than him. His ability and knowledge far surpasses yours when it comes to pool and many other aspects of life.
Could you imagine if you were in the poolroom and Mark did not like the way you played because you had a different stroke or did not know how to bank because you didn't fare well in geometry in high school...and walked up and started mocking you in front of others and talking about how you shouldn't even try to play anymore because you suck and he could give you the 1 and out for all the cheese you can scrape together? Would you like that?
As Rich stated above if you don't like his posts, then excercise some discipline and don't read them...or don't you have any?

I certainly don't mind your threads or your posts. If you post something I don't care for, and I haven't seen one of those yet, I'll just skim over it or not read it at all. We had one poster here before who started thread after thread of nonsensical stuff. He would start so many threads that you couldn't keep up with the other threads because they would be flipped over to page 2 before you had a chance to even read them. Other than that, he really didn't bother me. So, just keep on posting and the Hell with them if they don't like it.

I enjoy Mark Tadd's posts on here and I would urge him to continue. However, it is definately enjoyable and easier to read a post where correct spelling, grammar and sentence structure is used. When a post is well written, I find it easier to comprehend the intended meaning.

I agree with you that it is easier to read a well-written post but while being a good pool player and a good writer aren't mutually exclusive, it is a reach. Most good pool players had to sacrifice other things in their lives to become as good as they are and that probably wasn't just church services on Sunday. I think I would rather read a post that may not be quite as coherent as I'd like it to be if it was written by someone who is as skilled as Mark is said to have been. He can share things with us that few others on this board can. Don't you agree?

Mark, I think it's fantastic that you're posting, but these are the kinds of comments that we don't need. Saying that certain "people don't like logic" is the kind of comment that has no place here. Yes, occasionally, poorly reasoned posts hit this forum. Still, most of us who post prefer to steer each other in the direction of greater understanding of issues, rather than attacking each other's ability to reason. If you're one of those that feels that anyone who isn't able to see things your way has a problem in the application of logic, you won't last long on this forum. On the AZB froum, we respect each other, and everybody's view, regardless of the quality of the reasoning behind it, is of interest to us. I have met you, and believe you to be the kind of person that can post with courtesy and respect. Good to have you on the forum, Mark. Post as often as you like.

I agree, you're correct in saying that most excellent pool players had to sacrifice other aspects of their lives. I would never want someone to stop posting simply because it's sometimes difficult to understand their post, especially someone as skilled and experienced as Mark Tadd. I think that players of his caliber add depth to the forum.

i may not tupe well cause ive never had to. but if i were to talk to you in person you would not be able to tell i could not type . i think i could hold a discussion on most topics. especialy logical ones and like to talk about the dreaded subject.......RELIGION WHICH ONES ARE TRUE OR FALSE & WHY
