old cues

hey everyone i just inherited a bunch of really old cues My friend told me to buy the blue book so I did. I have an old brunswick cue that looks like the color sample on page 38. It is the one on the top. Mine is a two piece. Is it original. I also have an old Adam cue that has the male pin coming out of the shaft. It is not in the book.

I see you are a fairly new member here. Welcome to the forum! If you can take some pictures it will sure help. Also if you need some help posting them Just give a holler.

Post pictures of all 20. You might be surprised what you have, some of the most valuable cues have no markings on them to indicate what they are.
 
Not sure where you are located, but ... find a local cuemaker. Take the sticks to him. He'll likely be a student of his craft and be able to help you identity and appraise each piece.

If the first cuemaker you encounter can't help ... try another.

Check out the second cue down on this page. I am not implying that the value of your cue is worth the asking price of the one here but they do look very similar.
