Someone gave me this great old house cue, I am not sure about the wood, or BRAND buy guess it is 40-50 YEARS OLD, not the point are not straight, but the Shaft is Fiddle Back, and it has a very sweet hit. i am thing of send it to some one to convert as a Bar Cue. What should the project cost?

if you do it your self maybe cost of your time and new pin maybe insert for shaft, or maybe even a new shaft.

If you want it done correctly, and depending upon who is doing the work, between $200 and $500.

to a Local Cue Repair person today to check out.

He said it was not worth converting because of a Slight Curve in the Cue. BUMMER.

with no shaft and no finish it should be pretty cheap to have it done if you can find someone willing to do it.

If someone just wants to have a house cue cut in half and a Radial pin installed I usually charge between 30 and 35.00 depending on what mood I happen to be in. Takes no longer than 15 or 20 minutes to cut, drill, tap and a light sanding. If they want the shaft cleaned or other work, then, of coarse, it would cost more.

Ryan is "the nuts"..... not in a "The Shining" type of Jack Nicholson aspect, but more along the lines of a "swift ninja fighting his way through the battlegrounds of the unholy" kind of nuts...
