Old vintage Billiard Videos

consider go4pool.com

If you actually own old videos, I will post them for you and you could make it worth your while. Everyone who puts a video on youtube, in my opinion, sells out the person on the video who worked for years to learn to play. Let's try to get some money going back to the people who deserve it, the players or their families, not the advertisers on youtube.

If you are interested in this old school stuff and you visit Vienna, you have to go to Weingartners museum !!!!!!

I'm just watching the Mosconi interview on your blog page Freddy and it's great to have a bit more insight to the knowledge and experiences that guys like Mosconi had gained in their era :)

Thanks for links guys :)

I know I have a VHS tape of "Super Cue Men" somewhere. That was pretty cool. It had footage of Mosconi making a jump off one table to pocket a ball on another table.

I thought the video called Q-Men was really cool. It's the one that has a young Irving Crane, Charlie Peterson and Willie Hoppe doing several billiards and pocket billiards trickshots. Not that the trickshots were great, but it's cool to see video of those guys because there isn't a lot of it around. Also, for years until I read McGoorty I thought Willie Hoppe's last name rhymed with soap and not poppy. The guy was so great and famous at one time I felt a little ashamed I didn't know that especially being so into the history of the game.
