Neither my 1963 Wille Hoppe Professional cue, nor my Anniversary predate myself.

1948 (68 and still pumpin' air...). :thud:

I like that cue.
You think Mike could do something with an older '70s Palmer (catalog 3 cue 8)) and turn it into a good player?
It's not all original, PFD replace the window and foil.

I have never had a issue with ivory .............
Guess I should consider myself lucky.

I would think he could and he does excellent work. I don't know how busy he is, but you should give him a call to find out.

I have another old A. E. Schmidt Titlist conversion that I'm going to get worked on, but I haven't decided how much of it I want to keep original.

It has a lot of plastic in it too. I bought it new in 1973 and it is still in pretty good condition, but I need to get it shined up a bit and the butt sleeve worked on or replaced and get a new bumper. The shafts are good, but I want them cleaned. The wrap is in good condition but very dirty from being played so much for many years. I would like to keep the original wrap if it can be cleaned up some.

I do ride a bike to the pool hall that is the same age as me.

I want a 65 Panhead myself. Next bike will be a Shovel...had one, regret selling. Pan will come after that.

I picked up a green- label mali recently, and it plays awesome. Do it.


My player is a Hagan. It was made in the 80's and it's older than me. I'm a whippersnapper.

I had a '54 Panhead. The last year for the Springer front-end.
If there wasn't an oil spot on the ground under the Primary cover, you were out of oil. :smile:
