Omega Butt/ Mike Bender Wrap and Shafts

I just received the Brazilian Tulip wood and Curly Maple Omega Butt back from Mike Bender. Mike completed the cue with 2 shafts with ivory ferrels, Black linen wrap, and orginal Omega threaded and coated joint pin. I have not chaulked this cue yet and I am asking $1800.00

Killer cue. Is there a close up of the pin? Never heard of the coated ones.

Bender did a great job completing that cue for you. Good luck with your sale, that looks like a hell of a player. I couldn't hold myself back from hitting a couple of balls with it.

Dan- Under the circumstances this cue may become my playing cue

Martin- at $1800.00 it is a good deal I have $2000.00 into it

Pin, Mike told me that the pin was a stainless coated brass pin that Omega was last using- I will take a picture of it and post it, I will also verify with Mike that i didnt mis speak.
 
Nice cue. Can't tell from the pictures if it has the flared butt . Does it ?
Can you post a picture of it ?

Looks good, might help to take some close up pictures of the forearm to see the points.
 
I am probably going to end up keeping this cue, I just got out of the hospital if my insurance covers what i think it is , ill keep the cue.

Structurally, the pin is the same as the orig omega pins with the exception of the rounded top. The TPI, ID and OD are the same. However, the pin was made by a machine shop and these particular pins were comissioned to be made by Esoteric Cues (scdiveteam) within the last decade some time. The pin is actually brass, dipped in chrome. Hope this helps.

Shaft 1- 3.6 ozs
Shaft 2- 3.6 ozs
Balance point on butt 19.25 in
Length-58 inches
