Omega/DPK vs Kersenbrock

A few days ago I saw a gentleman said that "all omega/dpk cues were made by Benders, not Kersenbrock". That is not true. There are some omega/dpks made by Kersenbrock in fact. Very few but they do exist. Check this one out:

can you get close on that unusual inlay, please. greatly appreciated if you can.

looks like ther's no scallop on the end of the butt. was this an omega thing that's just different from the others,,,or a dpk thing.

did dpk put his name in the butt on all HIS work and the other omegas were benders?

is the template on this dpk different from other omegas?
 
This one is also very different and sports ivory joint, ivory butt, ivory on the end of each shaft and ivory ringworkl Does not look near a regular Omega. Does have the Omega pin.How would I price this, everything is striaight and very nice.Thanks, Deacon

I have no idea what that cue is work but that is one nice looking Omega, what does it weight and are the shafts 13mm?

Yes, sometimes there's some really bad information put the board. It's also pretty shallow minded to say that someone never did this or never did that. Great cue, Chady, have you had this one a while ??

Actually a very good friend of mine decides to part with it and I am going to keep it in my collection for a while. :D
 
Pool chady, Im very sorry I posted on your thread. I thought I was in the cue gallery( very late night last night) and went to post the pics of this cue I just received on trade. Im selling it but thought I was on cue gallery not wanted and for sale. I will post later on the wanted/ for sale board. Again did not mean to highjack your thread. That Kersenbrock is gorgeous. I have an Omega that was built by Kersenbrock, they sponsored a friend of mine in tournaments and he would sell cues while he was there.

He personally saw Kersenbrock make his cue, I have also seen Omega's that were signed by Kersenbrock under the wrap. This is the 2nd Omega I have seen that he signed on the butt, a pretty rare cue!

Chady if you ever want to sell it give me a call.
