Every year it's some snafu. I for one am really tired of the disappointments
 
Yeah well I paid for the whole tournament from the beginning and was very disappointed with the coverage. Just terrible in my opinion. How the hell to they kick us out like that. Its been happening a lot. I sent them an email letting them know how upset I was and how much of a waste of money I think it was. Just not cool

This truely sucks! Who won? Can I get my refund?
 
I was happy with the service, connection and quality...until this happened. It just had to happen at case game!

Yeah get this, someone actually emailed me back about it and they tried to say that everything was fine and that it didn't happen on their end. I said are you kidding how does this happen to all of us if it isn't on their end. Pretty ridiculous. So disappointing
 
They will probably apologize and blame something off the wall without actually taking responsibility for their screwup. Then they will post the final match on their website so people who paid can watch it again for the next few days. In their mind that will make everything alright. Until there is a large boycott of their broadcast I am afraid this is going to be SOP for BCN. If they know that people will continue to pay them regardless of the quality what incentive do they have to improve?

Also the ring games i never completely viewed.

i sent them a pm wich i couldn't believe their bow wasn't full and then and e mail. i gotta believe az is a major gruop for them. unbelievable. i wanna smash somthing, WHERE IS MY CUE !!!
 
We can expect a flimsy excuse and that's all.

Like ALL business's these days the bottom line is all that matters and the fact that their customers are unhappy won't bother them a dammed bit. This whole thing is some little thing that some asshole didn't take care of because he/she just didn't care enough to be thorough. It's incompetance and nobody really cares.

They'll say the right things... they'll say how very sorry they are and how they wish they could make it up to us and on and on and on and on.

But, we'll be back next year because we have no choice and we'll eat the same portion of crap they fed us this year. That's how it is when there's no competition.

No wonder people "go postal" every once in a while.

Yep they said the same thing to me. What a joke. I won't use their website again if this is how they do business. They sit there and lie to our faces. Yeah it's just a big coinsidence that 20 different peoples windows media failed at the same time. Yeah Right! It was them and they damn well know it.

Funny thing about weird stuff happening - happens to everyone, but seems to happen more frequently to those who are unprepared and those who don't do their homework. After 9 days to fix any glitches, what do we get? "Heidi", 2007 version. My dream tonight will be that everyone involved with BCN who actually plays pool will get trapped by my buddy Sanchez on a pool table some day and feel a fraction of the frustration and helplessness we BCN fish have felt for the past week. For next year's DCC, if I can't go, I'll pay Derek Disco 30 bucks to walk around with his hand held camera before I give another nickel to BCN. To BCN: I don't want your DVD replay - I just want your stream to work like EVERY OTHER STREAM ON THE NET - how is it that I can watch live poker for free on a 2-bit site and NEVER have any problems, but you can't get it together with a lot of time to prepare? I'll bet there are a lot of us who are thinking: If I screwed up like this, I'd be sleeping in the street (as Danny D would say). I could go on but what's the point - as previously stated by others, you got the $ with no competition, so What, Me Worry?

This bullshit has been happening with BCN for the last few years since I've heard of them. It's the same exact thing with the USOpen and Derby City. Connection problems, servers down, etc. Its all bullshit. That's why I will never pay for it again. Last year it was way too aggravating when I kept getting disconnected during a few big matches. I cant stand it, it's not worth the money. I'll just buy the damn accustats DVD. And BCN always gives you the same story, either it's not their fault (it's your connection), or they have to change the server because it mysteriously shut down, or some other bullcrap lie. All they care about is getting your money, they don't give a shit what happens after that. I'm not sending them a dime ever again.
