Back on the road again..........
But it's the short road......It was to Austin Mn Sunday..........
Troy had called me awhile back. He had 2 nephews, Kane and Dillon and he finally called and set up a time.
As usual it was so much fun. One by one I showed them which eye was dominant. This was a challenge because they all were kind of in the middle. After we got done the middle didn't exist anymore and the shots were going in the holes.
it's fun when there are multiple lessons together like this because they can see that we are all the same together. Everyone that was right eye dominant had trouble cutting the ball to the left and everyone that was left eye dominant had trouble cutting to the right.
As all the players that have learned Perfect Aim can attest to.
Then it came to Troy's wife. She was right handed and left eye dominant. As she got down to shoot it was obvious that she was left eye dominant and she kind of turned her head to the right so it looked like she was peaking with her eyes to the left.
After seeing why she was doing this and showed how to get the eyes right she never missed a shot. She shot 2 balls, one to the right and one to the left. Each shot hugged the rail and about 5 straight in shots. She could hardly believe the results and I could see Troy was surprised also.
It was about 7 hours long and everyone got to seeing the shot right. I expect Kane and Dillon will be heard from in the future.
2 new young fires started Sunday in Austin for sure and Troy and the wife are going to have so much fun working on their new found ability to see the shots correctly.
My hats off to Troy for making it possible for me to work with these young guns. This is what will build pool, working with these young guys.
Off to the tourney at Shooters in Burnsville. Got to keep those balls rolling.
Thanks again Troy for making Sunday such a great day and that diamond table you have is the best playing table I have ever seen. The few games we played afterwards made me feel like a kid in a candy store even though I was so tired.
