On the Road with the Professor

Grady,
If you find yourself travelling near the Canton area. Stop by Fiddlestix Billiard Cafe. The Owner (Chris Szuter) is known to engage in a friendly game of stakes playing 1pkt. A lot of the time he will take the worst end of it just to play legends of the game in his room.

Thanks anyway but this time it's just not that kind of trip. I'm doing exhibitions, clinics, and some lessons. We have several scheduled already and they'll be posted on my website within another day or two.

I'll buy lunch

If you come through Chicago, give me a ring and Ill buy lunch for you and Randi. I dont stay up late enough to buy dinner.

We'll be driving through Montana so plan to shake hands instead. Would love to get some work there. Any ideas?

Grady...You've already done a great exhibition at Montana State several years ago, and you might be able to come again. UM in Missoula, also has a nice gameroom, and lots of interested students. I'd try those two places first...and contact them now, if you want to do something in April. Good luck, my friend!:D

Thanks a lot, Scott. I called both places and left messages. Sure hope they respond since I've always loved Montana.

Randi and I will be making our annual 10,000 mile trek in April. If you are interested...

Grady,
I wouldn't miss it for anything; it sounds like a great opportunity for a little AZB Get-Together.

It sounds like April 4th in Betmore's Basement. Invited so far are JCIN, elvicash, eales, steev, StraightPoolIU, & Woody_968. If I've forgotten anyone, let me know.

The plan is for a meal at my place, then an exhibition/lesson from the Professor. If we have too many people we may move over to Chalkies (though hopefully my wife will still cook for us). It's even possible one of the local celebrities will stop by.

Hi Grady;

Great to hear your hittin' the road again. Would love to see you swing by Hard Times in Sacramento again. Always appreciate you coming by. The annual Jubilee (sp) is coming up in June, lasts about a week, players and people from all over come. You were there before. Call Chuck at Hard Times, I'm sure he would love to have you there, as would lots of players.

Mike

Grady,
Guys,
We will start at my house at noon on Wednesday, April 4th.

Attending will be Williebetmore, JCIN, eales, FastJK, and elvicash. One of our local pool celebrities will also attend (schedule-permitting).

Possibles are StraightPoolIU, billiardbum, and a friend of JCIN's.

Chalkies doesn't open until 3, but we could possibly go over there after lesson & dinner if enough people want to play (we could even have a little mini-tournament).

See you.

Don Wardell

P.S. - If there are other interested players; just let me know. The more the merrier.

Really looking forward to the Betmore Basement visit. Check out the website, www.gradymathews.com to see where else we're going. It's being updated daily.
