One-Handed Behind The Back Runout

balance point

Jesse, that is some advanced sh*t! Loved the 1h straight pool video, too. Are you holding the cue at the balance point or just a hair behind?

I hold it so the weight hangs forward some, for power shots the grip goes back some so more weight is forward. You should try it for a few racks, its amazing how quickly the hand-eye coordination adjusts. opposite handed took a little longer, now I'm working on facing away from the shot holding the butt and shooting backward! lol

Thanks!

I thought I noticed the cue leaning forward a little under its own weight. I will have to try it now that I've seen someone who knows how to do it right. Can't wait to see it when you've mastered shooting backward.
You got some talent.

My intention tremors would have a hay-day if I ever tried that.... stupid shaky hands.

But it's a great false psych-out when I'm playing matches

Now you got to use that talent to make some money...I can see it now..You playing the poker player Dippy a 50k set with you shooting one handed, jacked up ,behind the back !! I'd buy the pay per view ! :D

I would love to gamble with Vipper, I'm a big fan of his poker playing. Unfortunately the line on my play is public and he's too smart to match up bad I think. Would be sweet to play him for 50k live streamed though.

I, too, heard that he had moved back to PI. When Gene offered to shoot every shot behind his back he also insisted that he didn't have to have one foot on the floor.

lol yeah, when I gambled with him I let him climb on the table and that was the last I saw of my cash.

new tip

I'm trying out a new tip, a Kamui, has anyone tried the super soft one? I usually go with a medium tip.

got to watch out working with a monkey!

Was wondering if the humor I was going for worked or was a flop. Let me know what your reaction to my new video was.

Ronald Reagan worked with a monkey and look where he found himself. He couldn't get a job in Hollywood and was forced to work as a politician! Unless you want to be President you might want to ditch the monkey. On the other hand, if you do want to be President, he'd make a better VP than many that were elected. ;)

had to restart my computer . . .

I had to restart my computer to give a decent eval, the sound flakes out on me.

Great one handed shooting, the humor is a little tougher. Great humor needs timing and excellent patter, slapstick, or something that is shocking and unexpected. You need live sound or at least an overlaid narrative that seems to be live. Even as quiet humor I don't think this really works, needs a little pop somewhere. Maybe that is the answer, if the monkey exploded when you hit it . . . . :D

Excellent videos and I don't mean to be discouraging, just the opposite in fact. Looking forward to your next effort. The golf ball seemed like fun, wonder if you painted a short set of them? I have a bunch of small about one inch superball style pool balls. They made me think that a full sized set with a hard rubber coating or a hard rubber coating and dimples could be fun. I wonder what kind of masse you could get with those. Maybe rub a little rosin into a ball and play with it but I don't know how badly it would transfer to the cloth, probably better to wait until nearly ready to change cloth to try that.

I'll be watching to see what comes next!

Thank you for the advice, those are some great ideas. My friends tell me I'm not very funny, so maybe they're right! lol The dimples in the golf ball made it nearly impossible to be accurate on a hit. Painting a set of golf balls would look neat too. Thanks for the response.
