Photos say it all. Working with jerry, I've not heard a blemish to his rep and all I can add for kudos, you all have already heard. Thanks Jerry!!

Really nice! Love the veneer colors on that one and the orange/copper looking rings in the butt sleve!

Rascal.......your cue looks so sharp.....the rings above the wrap are fetching and the acrylic versions in the sleeve are a classy touch.
The points and veneers look immaculate and the cue's design just speaks of yesteryear and days long gone by......a cue design for the ages.
Jerry is a cue-maker that you can tell after chatting with him for a couple of minutes makes each and every pool cue as if that cue was going
to be his own cue. It has to look and play great before he'll put his signature on the cue.

Thanks for showing pictures of your new cue. Come back and let us know how you like playing with this beautiful Bushka Tribute from Jerry Rauenzahn.

Are you ever wrong?

I agree those rings above the wrap and the Bushka-style acrylics on the butt is fantastic.

Looking forward to see everyone's designs. Perhaps a group thread for you lucky bastids.

Very nice. The Mosconi theme, but with leather wrap and Titlist veneer colors (I suspect nobody noticed), rather than the original five veneer Mosconi colors. Jerry's Titlist veneers are the best anywhere. You also got the right copper/brass color in the buttsleeve, very nice.

There are a lot of little details Jerry gets right in a tribute cue, such as the point length, 3/4 of the forearm, as well as other proportions and colors. Very nice cue, by one of the top cuemakers.

I have had several Balabushkas but never noticed the details like
you guys

it amazes me to see the number of people so tuned into precise
details

Jerry is truly a craftsman,I love these Bushka inspired cues
I recently had a Brunswick 360 inspired beauty

Everything jerry does makes people happy
i like that

Jerry is very attentive about the specific features and precise measurements George used in his cue-making approach.
I enjoyed discussing some of George Balabushka's cue-making idiosyncrasies with Jerry, such as George's ring work.

When Jerry and I discussed Balabushka cue designs, he sounded more like a pool cue historian instead of a very talented,
cue-maker. He spoke about the pool cues of George Balabushka with reverence and knew so much about George's cue-making.

I was impressed with how he spoke about George Balabushka & Jerry's own interpretation of how a Bushka design should look.
He's just a absolute pleasure to work with and as every new Rauenzahn cue owner has posted, one heck of a cue-maker as well.

Beautiful

Congrats on such a beautiful cue

The design and ring work is classic

I know the hit is excellent!

Another fantastic example of Jerry's work. Love the bronze rings in the butt and double rings up top.

Veneers are very crisp and clean.

Enjoy

dave

PS couldn't agree more with Matt

I do hope you post some close-up photos of the veneers.........there's 5 veneers on this monster and I understand that this cue is Rascal's personal design and it's a dandy.

I was intending to start a new thread in the Cue Gallery....... Jerry Rauenzahn Bushka Tribute Cues. I was hoping it might result in all of the different buyers posting pictures
of their Jerry R. Bushka cues. Jerry has been asked to try and come up with a photo gallery but I don't know if he's able to do that.

So I was thinking a thread might be a pretty fair substitute and everyone that's already gotten their cue from Jerry can post pics of their cue. Of course, this will require DunnM1
to post several times since he seems to have pretty much cornered the market on Jerry R. custom cues.

Anyway, if you already gotten your cue, be sure to get some great photos of your cues posted.

Great cue, but actually, this one is a four veneer, not five veneer cue. This one appears to be Jerry's rendition of Brunswick Titlist veneers, rather than Balabushka's original five-veneer cue. Just a minor observation, and wonderful cue to boot.

I think you are mistaken......Jerry actually told me yesterday that there are 5 veneers in this cue.......and that Rascal designed this cue himself.......the 5th veneer is a double purple which is why I'm counting on Rascal to post more photos of the veneers.

RascalDoc, kaiserman, dvs, DunnM1, Gonzo, et al.......I started a new thread in the Cue Gallery intended for you guys to post the best photos of your new Jerry R.cues. Until someone comes up with a photo gallery of all these cues, I thought this was a way of trying to centralize photos of these wonderful Jerry Bushka Tribute cues.........and Mike Dunn will need several posts since he now has a cache of Jerry R. cues.....and more still to come.

Jerry's being too kind. I just basically picked the veneer colors with his help and there are two purples in there. The rest was GBs design executed by Jerry. The cue plays great. My first steel jointed cue since my old Cobra I think. That Cobra I bought from Abe Rich for 30 dollars.
This cue feels really good. Balance is perfect IMO and we all know what they say about opinions. A detail I picked up, noticed, are the jp's Jerry included. A very nice touch. Plain black plastic but when I paid a little attention to them I noticed one has -R- and the other has -R- -R- on it. Shaft one, and two. Failure to pay attention, on my part.
Thanks for all the compliments and comments on the cue and Matt, I will post better pics of the veneers in the next day or so.
