One of those no-lathe tip installs

Dude I could give a rats ass what anybody who comes at me like the junk yard dog has to say. Pops is as nice as I can be. It's on open forum and I don't need your approval. Thx.

You most certainly don't need my aproval.

But when you finally figgure out you need somebody's advice on how to be a man,
instead of a whinny assed spoiled brat, my door will be open.

And, by the way, my dad can whip your dad.

By no means a good installation job, but judging by some of the shafts people give me and the state of the ferrule and shaft in general, and the tips I see people put on, it's actually not that bad.

hacks are good for business....without them there would be no way to differentiate who is actually competent or of more value.

Be Grateful for hacks

You boys all do the same old moves. Think being a hack cuemaker is some special accomplishment? Like I have to take your nonsense? Get over yourselves really. I've seen better looking rolling pins.

First off, I really mean this in the most constructive way. I can't begin to tell you how important this site has been to my learning of a craft and ultimately putting out a better product. I'm just a cuetech, but as such get to see firsthand the different ways in which cues are built. While repairing these cues, I sometimes have had to rely on some very talented folks that post to this site. KJ being one of them. I've never had the pleasure of meeting KJ, but I know that I can call him for advice anytime I need to. I still have to perform the work, but he has saved me from making more than a few mistakes over the years. My point sir is that reguardless of how talented we may think we are. We all need help from time to time. Its great to be able to bounce ideas off folks in the same field, but your comments and tone, in my opinion limit the productive back and forth that I have come to enjoy. I hope you never come to know a time when you need someones help and they don't want to give it because of your comments or onsite behavior. I've been working on cues since 1998. I learn something new all the time. These folks that you call pops and hack have been turning out what I consider to be pieces of art for many years. Before you go too far, I'd ask you to please at least consider that you just might possibly learn something from them too. You may totally disagree with my post and thats fine. I just hate to see folks that have gone out of their way to help me disrespected.

Delusional - you've never seen one of my cues.

Really?

Who is it that refuses to accept reality?

Dale

The reality is a few of you guys are a bunch of old hens and like to be shit stirrers. The man comes at me like I'm trying to join your club....I'm not. Now you want to be the hero. Get over yourself sir.

Uhmm. Didn't you respond to KJ's post first? And it wasn't exactly an "nice post/I agree"
type comment you made. And, as it turns out you were wrong, no new ferrule or turning
down to 11mm was required. Some 600 grit sandpaper did the trick. Which is what KJ said.

This is where you need to just show some respect and class. Those "old hens" have taught me a helluva lot and when i ask a question, Dale and KJ are some of the first to answer, and they answer honestly. Stop this childish behavior and let it go. Now if you will excuse me, ive got to go tighten the screws in my walker.

It's comments like this that will get you a little vacation....read the rules and abide by them...
