Only 2 U.S. players?

Perhaps one of them should consider proving it to Shane next year at Derby City. If a $20,000 master of the table bonus isn't enough to motivate them, and it certainly wasn't in January 2011 or January 2012, that's their problem.
Non-factors in the one pocket event, they were given a second chance to show their one pocket pedigree, but neither Busty nor Alex managed a top 3 finish at the US Open One Pocket event in May. Perhaps you think they are just stalling.
Your claim that Shane would be eaten alive in an all-around against either is what's laughable.

Of course van boning is there hes getting massive sponsor support. Take that away and he might not feel like flying 50 hours round trip and paying 2500 in hopes of a payday. where will America sit in the world of pool 10 or more years down the road? Hell, I don't think they will every win another Mosconi. American player have fallen to the side IMO the only thing we are holding on to are the pros from yesteryear who all seem to think that the world owes them something. Yes we have some greats, who have done great things but the fact of the matter is still that no one wants to put their name behind any of them.
America and Americans seem to think that "THEY" are Gods gift onto the world, but it is the illiterate who make up the vast majority of them, believing that the rest of the world comprise of 3rd world countries and they are the 1%. They keep living in yesterday like a pool player who loves the term "when i use to play" every time they lose to an up and coming.
there is only one department that america is 1#
There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we're the greatest country in the world.
We're 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income.
We lead the world in only 3 categories: Number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real, and defense spending where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom, are allies.
So what makes us the best country in the world, I don't know what the F&#% they're talking about.
In closing we have very little to pull from in the future once out vets have pulled out JCIN want to match up some players but I say, if you want to see who has tomorrow then lets have an under 21 competition with the rest of the world and see where we stand.
Congrats to Ralf Souquet in advance for pulling off another.

Im sure if he wanted to pony up some cash and play all arounds, he would have a line of pinoys waiting to play. Not tourney style. Dont get me wrong I pull for SVB cause hes an american, but he cant compete with the pinoys all around.
Hell hes not even the most talented american, although he is the top american at this time. Corey has more raw talent than almost anyone anywhere, hes just not hungry anymore. If he practiced as much as SVB he would conquer everything. Corey dont/wont practice 8 hrs a week
I certainly didn't suggest that Shane would crush them all, but the statement that he'd be eaten alive was ridiculous and I reacted to it. I think all-arounds with Busty or Alex could go either way.
IIRC, SVB recently (like in the last year or so) traveled to the Philippines and didn't book a loser gambling against some of their top players.
I did an "AZB search" but couldn't find anything to quote. I'm sure I read it on here so it must be true.
