Well, I was taking a small pass to even up the rings I installed on a cue I'm refinishing for a friend and had a small oops moment. One of the diamond inlays chipped out and 3 dots are now missing. I don't have an inlay machine so I can't cut my own, Anyone have some I can buy from you? They are pearloid and the diamond is .578 long by .360 wide and the dots are .125" dia. Any help is appreciated. I need 2 diamonds, as the other one is missing a piece already and 3-4 dots.
Damn cheap cues.

I don't have that material, but would be glad to make them if we could find some. I am also thinking at some point here not to long ago, someone was selling some old stock, not sure if it was the same stuff or not.

All the ring parts, including the sleeve that the inlays were on, were cut after what appears that the cue had moved quite a bit. So all the rings had a thin side, and a thick side 180 degrees apart. I replaced the rings, but had to reuse the sleeve, so I glued a piece of plastic rod into it, then bored it to the size of the tenon so the sleeve would be concentric with the rest of the cue. I took 3 cuts at about .005" each to try to taper and normalize the size of the rings and sleeve. The diamond broke due to being too thin at that edge, but the dots 'fell' out due to glue failure while cutting, as best as I can tell. There's about .035" depth in the holes still. The diamond pocket, I will need to hand cut it deeper, and use black epoxy. I have found the diamonds on StewMac, but the dots seem to be harder to find in the size I need.

It would be possible to CNC in a little larger pocket and make a part to fit it........

the question is .... is the cue worth it?
