Well one things for sure, as Blackballed so eloquently put it, "He's not afraid to get in the box".

To be fair, I think Frost could give most players 11-5 so the probably isn't super out of line. It's just a strange, out of the blue post. If he wants to play Frost, the man isn't hard to find. And if he's trying to bet enough, other top level players will be on their way as well.

Agreed, and that was my point, it was strange/out of the blue because ain't nobody else doing it.

With him "smoking" the 9 ball ghost on a super tight table, it would prob be safe to say he plays above A speed.

I was actually surprised to see it cause I know plenty of guys who I'd take in 9 ball including the poster , he's not a tourney player he's a get in the box one pocket player and there he's definitly a A player ,

I'm a D level player and I have offered on here the champs play 1 stop and I get to keep going. Winters beat me at that, right after Danny beat me giving me 13-4

Henry is neither pool retarded, nor a pool genius, but i dont like his end of beating the ghost even.

Ad those tight tables at top hat arent as tough at they appear in text. Openings might be small, But with short shelves ad good angles, they play a lot looser thant their sizes wouls suggest.

Hmmm, I wonder if Mr. Baker is reading this. Might be worth his time to take a little road trip. I will stop in at his hall and see if he is aware. I will also let Mr. Barkhurst know about this. Would be fun to see either of them get their 1P hackles up.

I don't see what the problem with the original post is. He offered a game to the one pocket champions with a spot, for a very decent sized bet. It's not like he offered to take that spot to B players or even shortstops, he clearly said "Champions" I don't see too many other people, or any at all come on here and call out the champions for 5K, even if it is with a healthy spot.

He called them "so called champions", inferring he didn't believe they were so, and then proceeds to ask for a pretty ridiculous spot.

Oh! I think were on the same page, so… this one pocket, aah… like in, making one shot and not able to pocket another? I’ve never been declared a champion however; I play that one well all the time, still I think I’ll pass, it’s just that making a shot with shape is what I’m playing for.

Yep....I think I now know what a "so-called" woofer is....
....one who asks for the world whilst calling you a nit.

If I'm playing you Dan, and you're the champ for the purpose of this.

You shoot one shot, offense or defense and you are done. If I make a ball, I get to keep going. What usually happens is that it gets turned into a game of banks and your one each turn is meaningful, where my likelihood to run several banks is 0.

Some people play and break wide open, I break normal.

If the guy getting the spot wins at this, the next step up is you take one offensive and one defensive shot and then pass turn. The problem for guys like me is, that nothing around my pocket has any fear for you, and you can shoot your ball + play shape to take out any problem area around my pocket.

This challenge is a joke. Henry can give Dippy 10-6,
If he wants real action, we got a couple of players in springfield that will play him EVEN
if he really wants to 'get in the box', which I doubt.
Good luck
This is a non starter,

And I have watched pros beat Dippy giving him 16-4.

So how does that equate to him asking for 11-5 from guys who give 16-4 to Dippy if he can get there giving Dippy 10-6?
