in my opinion it is the best hitting break/jump on the market! i jump half balls with ez! you wont go wrong with the sledgehammer!:D

i think its an excellent break cue, i can jump with it but not as well as the harder tipped jump cues

break cue

I've had mine for 3 yrs and will not part with the cue,I have learned to even play with the cue very well.Great power transfer and though I have tried other jump cues I'm deadly with the sledghammer.Excellent control and finesse also. You can't go wrong with this break cue.

If you're talking about the new Gulyassy/Samsara jb...it's great. I like it much better than the 2 Sledgehammers, Stinger, etc. Lots of power with control. Many, many of my friends at my favorite poolhall have tried it and without exception, all have said it's the best breakcue they have ever tried. I'm not a great jumper, but I manage OK with this, but the break is fantastic. Haven't tried a X-Breaker, so can't compare them.

Gulyassy are sure a good break/jump cues. But since I've got my Omen break/jump, I wouldn't change! A good leather tip provide a better control of the CB, IMO. I like the proportion of the butt parts wich is not classical. The division of the butt is much on the rear, so it provide a longer jump cue. You winning in precision for long jump shots and that's not disturbing on short shots. The balance is also perfect (for me).

note : I've never tried the gulyassy/samsara...
