Just looking for some opinions on the type and brand of ear plugs people use...I use a pair of ear muffs now but they are uncomfortable and sweaty and would like to switch to a plug....Thanks for your time.

I got rid of my noisy router and went with spindle. Got rid of the Shop Vac and switched to Garage Vac and mini cyclone.
My air compressor is a very quiet California Air.
Now, i just use napkin to cover my ears.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

I would quit cue making if my shop required me to wear ear plugs all the time.

My nervers.......both of them!!!!

My planner and jointer are loud and I were muffs for the little times I use them.

Be safe, ear damage is perminent.

Went to see the audiologist and they recommended a custom set of molded ear plugs for me. The work great and no where near as bulky as the muffs I used to wear and sweat my ears off with.

They can also check your hearing at the same time, which was handy for me as now I have proof that I can not hear the specific range of my wife's voice.
