Eh?? Who dishonored who? Who is your brother in-law? I am sure not a single person on here knows who you or him are, and I'd like to know what exactly you are talking about.
Are you sure you are talking to the right group of people? Maybe you meant to complain about the long line at the supermarket when someone did not let him cut in line and not post in a pool forum?

His brother in law, according to what he has said, was Jeff R. Renfrow, the man in charge of props for the movie C.O.M., who also, according to what he has said, purchased the cues used by Cruise and Newman from the production company when the film was done.
Indeed Jeff was the props man, this I do know. However, I still dont understand how anyone here has dishonored him , for years, with their drivel.
Who said it, and what did they say? Surely, if it happened , a search of the forum should be able to answer this question?
Or is it the simple fact that people didn't know the whereabouts of these original cues that was insulting somehow? I dont understand.
so is he going to donate them to the Chicago Billiard Museum, to honor his family & preserve for pool?

How can we dishonor someone no one knows? Is his name zinzola or eddie wheat? Did he go by Painter? Was he known as barkcinnamin or john holmes?

My sister could answer those questions sir .. I only know he was hurt here in his home town ..
Jeff had to endure . So he did what he was good at ... to those that still do not understand Google Property Master and read the given deffinitions to the position ..
It entails the Gathering and placement of any particular prop with the direction of the Director of Filming ..
The gathering of said props entails it 's own budget that must be adhered to .
This would include the commissioning of the manufacture of said props .
All of this is accomplished prior to the start of filming .

Did Jeff live over in Villa Park when he died?
Did he die in 2003?
Was he a member of the local VFW?
Jeff did so live in Villa Park where he did so Pass away from colon cancer and it's many unpleasantries . My sister had chosen to not reveal to me the exact nature and the coarse histories of his ailment until the last days of his demise .
I guess she had chosen to spare me any such againy of what she had to endure .
I recieved a call from her as I had been living in Sacramento , Ca. During those years raising my own Family . My oldest brother did infact fly in for his passing and had told me that I could do little if nothing to alleviate any one and my best course would be to pray for a timely passing . So I did .. and then I cried , which is how we grieve our losses in life ..
The VFW I can only check into .. Interesting part of that is in 2005 I returned here and had answered many phone calls from a gentleman inquiring by asking for Jeff .. I could never bring myself to let this gentleman know of his demise , or he was unwilling to here it ..

Maybe we can finally put together a display for ICCS ..
Next year seems to be a more appropriate time considering the 30 th anniversary and all .
I will be having more further indepth discussions about that possibility with my sister and Family within the near future ..

Big Chris has been hosting the Windy City Cue Show in Addison in the fall. Although I dont know yet if he'll be doing it again this year, it would be a good opportunity to get your feet wet.
As I said in my note to you, seeking venues other than the ICCS will likely work better for you in your journey. I would recommend a local Chicago area show.

Now that I think about it, if it was me, I would present the cue(s) to Joss first, to have them authenticated, that way you have iron clad proof and provenance no matter what. That is your absolute best course of action.
