Hey Frank, wish you could make the trip down here too. Robb S. says hi BTW. Hopefully it won't be a blood bath trying to get tickets. I am waiting for them to be available. The Convention Center is huge so it should be a blast. I'll take a lot of pics too and send them.

It depends if you are playing in the tournament. I am just going to watch and will drive in. It doesn't matter if the place I am staying at is 20 miles away, it's just a place to sleep and I will drive in each day for the tournament. You should have a car though because I am sure there will be stuff going on in the area and when the tournament is not going on. It won't be like the Derby, there will be nothing to do after hours. You will want to go to the local pool rooms who I am sure will plan some stuff at the time, house tournaments what ever or just some action.

If you go t o a Denny's and pick up the coupon book, you will be able to find many places (chains) on Intnl Drive for that rate or better. The Rodeway Inn might even be under $40.

If I had my choice, I would have stayed at the Peabody Hotel, right across the street from the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center, but they were sold out. I would have enjoyed the world-renown comfortable beds and the daily duck march through the lobby of the hotel every morning!

AT $69.95 id look elsewhere- I paid $24.95 with the coupon but it was 3 years ago. Demand must be much higher now.
