Oscar barking at Karl Boyes

What does everyone think of this? Oscar is calling out Karl who said he is retired and doesn’t play anymore.

Who do you like if they match up?
 
If Karl doesn't gamble, is it because of Matchroom bans?

Karl can sneak up on Oscar. He is always scouting and well rested.
 
Man this is a tough one, but I got to go with Oscar. For one, I think he is playing great and with a lot of confidence. Love Karl too, but when you are not in "competition mode", you lose a little. The mental game is huge and when you are not in the trenches, fighting with the foot soldiers, you get unsharp. It may only be a ball or two miss but it can be enough. I'm sure Karl could get back to a high form in no time, but I have to give the edge to Oscar.
 
I like Oscar. He is as gritty as they come. When it's slick new cloth in tournaments who knows, but when it's on a worn cloth club table with tight pockets in a cash shoot out I think he shows up in a big way.
 
Boyes drilled him playing 10 ball at the derby awhile back. As I remember...it wasn't close.

Boyes had a monster break, and ran out from everywhere....it was impressive.

Apparently started when Oscar called Karl fat hasbeen after Karl appeared on Mike Molina podcast. Sounds like a script out of WWE:D

Happened to look Karl Fargo and it has a unique ring to it.
Says "Blackpool GREAT" (as in Blackpool , Great Britain) which can be read as "Black Pool Great " :ROFLMAO:

Oscar is legitimately one of the nicest people ever to play high level pool. He has always been on the up and up in matches, never seen or heard any chearing rumors, bets his own, loves his wife and kid, and now owns his pool room. The calling out jas been good natured goading between two competitors. If Karl gets ready, I believe he is the better player. We shall see.

I think both have been mostly retired from high level competition for the past few years. So I’d make that a moot point.

Karl has the higher gear, imo, and would be the favorite. I’d bet him.

oscar still competes, he travelled a lot last year. karl is 6 years retired and out of shape, i don't like his chances
 
Boyes would be up for it but he better stop arsing around on jet skis and get a few hours in on the table.
