Outsville SOLID!!!!

Outsville Tip

I play with a Sowder Break Cue with a Phenolic tip. I will try one you your hard tips for breaking.

Hey Chris,

You know, you and I have similar tastes with regards to hard tips. I am currently breaking with an original ob break cue with samsara break tip. Also I used to shoot and break with the bk2 for the solid energy transfer. Also, I have an original bk with a white diamond break tip that I have been occasionally using to shoot as well with. I would definitely be interested in trying your Solid break tip out.
Thanks,
Tim

Chris,

I'm currently using an Alex Brick jump/break with a Samsara tip. I'd planned on having the guys from Jacoby do some work on the tip for me when I see them at a team tournament I'm playing on Nov. 15th, 16th, and 17th anyway. If you plan on shipping the tips out in time for them to arrive by the 14th I'd gladly try one and offer my opinion. If that's too soon for you to ship them, count me out, after that it will probably be a while before I change the tip again.

'The TIP is the Teacher'

Okies am a few adjustments away from releasing the Outsville "Solid" break tips... The adjustments are esthetic in nature as I have the process and percentages established...

The "Solid" is a single layered break tip based on the Vacuum impregnation processes used on the Outsville Ki-Techs... The elastomer and hardener contents have been established to create a hard break tip that has the ability to grab the ball to allow consistent cueball control while attempting to eliminate any deformation while transferring optimal energy by eliminating compression....

I'd like to get a list of people interested in trying out the Solid... I am looking mainly for Samsara and Odega users but a few sonic or Bk2 phenolic users will be selected as well...I must also limit the shipping to US or Canada to keep from having to deal with higher shipping costs and customs....

The FREE tip will ship out next Monday after this thread has been up thru the week to get a list of interested parties..... Please respond to this thread and not thru PM as I might miss your PM and not get you included in the drawing... depending on the response I will determine the number of persons selected thru random drawing..... PLEASE INDICATE YOUR CURRENT PREFERENCE OF BREAK TIP IN YOUR POST!!!

Break tips will not go on sale for a few weeks yet

We are still doing the samplers of the Ki-Techs at $15 introductory for a soft, medium and hard.....

AZ quantity breaks for KI-Techs are still as follows for specifying hardness grades:
3-$21
5-$30
10-$50
25-$100

I'd like to thank everyone who has ordered and provided feedback so far....

Shoot straight and may all of your racks be tight....

Chris

I really like the TIPS you gave me in Tunica and I'm using the one on my playing cue now. Send me a break cue one asap and I'll test it out for you and give some feedback.

Glad they are still holding in there and performing.... Was hoping to see you and Mary at The Open but that's a long haul from Texas... Maybe SBE????

Will be in touch,

Chris

I use a BK2 cue. I have 2 shafts. 1 is the standard phenolic and the other is a Samsara tip. I am very interested to try the Solid break tip. Let me know what to do.

Thanks!!

I m at the moment 100% satisfied with my Samsara Break Tip on my Samsara Breaker.
Atm by far the best break tip for me-and til now i recommend it without any doubt- next to the HC4000 which is made by a german cuemaker.

So i m interested in testing out your 1 layered Breaktip for sure.

Hi there,
I'm breaking with an X-Breaker with its original tip ( G10 mb ? ).
Just bought a Mace yesterday, perfect timing if I can test your break tip on my Mace.
Regards,

sent a few PMs already.. will try and do more this week... As long as I have clients to answer to for my consulting gig I will be dealing with that ebb and flow with Outsville... Good news is Outsville is taking hold and where the Ki-Techs are we are winning the war against the big boys... The more battles we win the more time I start shifting time to this venture...

It's always the weakest link... I was getting away with exceeding the pressure on the equipment for a little while but I ended up breaking my mold on the Solids... I am having a heavy duty one made but it won't be ready until sometime this week at best.... I may try after I finish the December Ki-Tech production run with that mold but I'm down to 1 since the one I broke was my backup.....

Just an update for the people I had selected in the drawing so they don't keep running to the mailbox looking for a package that hasn't shipped yet...

I'll post here the day I have them completed so everyone can have an idea as to when to expect delivery....

Chris,

I may need your help in PM-ing me when you're about to post because I'm not using the same forwarder anymore. If its causing inconvenience to you, you may give up my slot to someone else. :)

Just wondering,

Have the tip been sent out to those who are in the sample list? :D

Getting the Christmas runaround at the machine shop... Was supposed to be last week and then didn't get to it this week... Wanna bet it gets done Christmas week? I don't LOL... So no the samples have not been shipped yet...
