Pagulayan / Schon / Predator Connection

I know that one of my favorite players, Alex Pagulayan, is sponsored by Mezz now, but a friend of mine told me that Pagulayan had, for quite some time, played with a Schon with a Predator shaft (don't know if it was a 314 or a Z) and actually had quite a streak going with this combination. Can anybody corroborate this? It's been a while because he had no sponsor at that time...so I'm told.

Alex did play for a long time with a Schon/Predator combo.
 
That is right, that was when Alex was not paid by Mezz. At one point, Mezz did stop paying and Alex went right back to that Schon/Pred314 combo. Then the Mezz AP cue came out and Alex used the Mezz AP cue ones again.

Why did they stop paying him?
 
Thanks for the info guys. It's gone now but I had a beauty of an STL9 but ordered it while they were offering an OB-1 shaft with it. Never took to the shaft and sold it but I do like the 314's. I always wondered if I would have sold the Schon if I had a 314 (esp. the 314'2) with that cue. The STL9 looked great.... ebony points, with just enough ivory and a great looking ebony windowed butt with ivory and some really outstanding BEM and it was absolutely flawless. Hmm. Something to think about.

Anyone playing a Schon / 314'2 combination?? If so, how does it play??
 
It is a Schon CX22, the cue is discontinued. The stl15 is the same thing, but the colors may vary. I shoot with the same cue. The hit of a schon is just perfect.
 
If you want a new STL 9 butt with a matching 314 2 with a Kamui Black Clear Super Soft tip, PM me I have one for sale. THx

Yeah Alex is still with OB, the thread started back in 2009 so its been a while. He went from that schon-pred combo to Mezz to OB
 
Schon CX22 same as Schon's STL15 cue? Must Have ALL! Will pay top $$$!

Please let me know if it is true I collect STL 15's I have 3 but am always looking for more, different colors, an CX22 version, and I heard there is an LTD version with a similar design, please let me know,Mike
