Looks like the time spent on your new veneer jig was well worth it. Those miters are clean and the colors really pop. Nice job.

Cues

Steve,

Great work... I like them both but my favorite is the brown cue... Can you give the specs on it? I would like for you to PM me about them and a future order.

I also like the brown cue as well. I also have a question. Why do the points meet at the base in the top cue but not in the brown cue . The reason I ask is I like the look of how the points come together at the top of the wrap in the blue cue much better .

Also compliments on your inlays into the light colored wood . They look super tite with no gaps. Nice to see someone sweating the details.

I think both cues look great and I'd be happy owning either cue or both! Your veneer work is top notch and you have a great future building outstanding cues!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! All white in both cues is ivory. They both went to a local cue Collecter. I have a few more I will be finishing up the next few days. To answer the question about the bottom of the points, the points that are not touching at the bottom are all cut in at the same time. Points touching at the bottom are a 2 stage process. two points are cut in and trimmed down, then the other two are cut in.
