Palmer Model J Tribute

This cue is coming from James White from the Mottey Shop. Its an idea I was toying with for a while. I took a model J design, spuced it up a bit and used all ivory instead. The Ivory ring in the butt will be scrimmed like the Palmer window with the inscription "Original by JMW - Model J tribute or something like that. I am showing it here, because I don't think I will be leaving the show with it.

It was a great idea. I think definitely one of the sharpest looking designs of all time. I was thinking the same thing for an "M" cue, but colored veneers winding around a wrapless handle.

I probably shouldn't show this- but I'm actually proud of it. Outside of the general forearm design- I designed the rest as an old-school cue (it's a composite drawing done in Photoshop- so the scale is a bit off. The wrap is a photo cut and pasted into the drawing- so I can see it with several wrap colors). I have since found similar cues made by other cuemakers. But, I drew this before seeing the others- does that make it theft?

Wow Joe , I sent a pretty similar setup to another cuemaker on Feb 11, everything but the dots, I am not crazy about the dots. And a different design in the butt section. Great minds think alike!!!
