Dallas Open One Pocket Championship. Being held at Diamonds Billiards at 10601 New Church Rd. 214-341-5200
Oct.9th.thru Oct 12th.
I have personally taked to and have commitments from Gabe Owen,Sylver Ochoa ,Scott Frost,Allen Hopkins,Shannon Daulton,Jeremy Jones,Cliff Joyner,and Tony Chohan,and would like to have as many other players as possible. If anyone can get in touch with the following players it would greatly be appreciated. Parica,Walden,Nevil,Pagulion,Bustamante,LilJohn,Tony Watson,Bryan Jones,Hillbilly,Ike Rennels, Grady Mathews,Buddy Hall ,Nick Varner,Cory Duel,Chris Bartram or any other interested player,please have them call Diamonds and confirm. Thanks.

Any nice hotels in the area? What area are you in? West Dallas? East? Any info you can give would help. Whats the area code?

There are several hotels in the area ,anyhere from 1/2 mile to 2 miles from the pool room. Motel 6, Laquinta, and others.
We are located in North Dallas off 635 at the plano rd exit #14

Thanks Bill. Any little more upscale hotels? I'm coming with the wife. She aint going for a Motel 6. Its the only way I can go. You know let her shop. Get her hair and nails done. Go to some friggin' spa. LOL!!!
 
There are several four and five star hotels, some attached to a giant mall in the galleria area. Only about four miles down 635. Same hwy diamonds is on.

Just south on 635 of the "6" there is a Best Western Express, but can't remember the exit. About 2-3 miles south of Plano road there is a very nice La Quinta for about 75.00.

go to www.google.com and put in the phone number (no - or /) and hit enter, then click on maps at the top after it returns, and you can get the map to where it is, and you can switch to satellite view too. Or you can use
'Google - Earth' which does the same thing. Google - Earth is a free download, and handy to have.

Stay at the Galleria if she likes shopping or one of the downtown hotels, however most of the good shopping downtown is now closed.

The Hilton Lincoln Center is right down the road on 635 and is across the street from the galleria. I would highly recommend it.

billy im guessing you are aware of the one pocket tournament on the 12th at the us open?

those dates, are so it doesnt get in the way of any other dates, its right before the us open if i am not mistaken....

I think Billy just wants his tournament to be a bit more suspenseful and less predictable. I don't blame him. Who wants to play only for 2nd place? ;)
