First off I live in Iowa and. President of Iowa ACS. Living in Midwest we have a lot of quality people in pool and the industry. I would like to aknowledge 2 indivials that I have known for a long time. Both being major supporters of pool player's and the industry of pool. Pat Diveney and his family, Fina, Brain and Danny, and David Jacoby and his family, I have had the pleasure to know each professional cue maker and worked beside them at the Iowa ACS, ISPA and the Midwest ACS.

I have met them both. I know David and Brandon personally. They built me a cue back in 2009. It is the best cue Ive ever played with. Brandon help me design it and built it exactly to my specks. Every time I need anything they are their for me. Great people to deal with. I have only met Pat once and he really seemed like a great guy.

Agreed, both great people and cue makers. I don’t know David but I’ve met Brandon while visiting the Jacoby shop. Pat is a great guy, first heard about him through my father who used to work with him at his day job before he went full time cue making. Was lucky enough to stop by his shop once and pick up a sneaky. Would really love to try one of his Lakewood shafts morning me of these days as I’ve heard good things.

Diveney fan here!

I am a Diviney fan and he is my go to cue guy. I have 2 of his players and a break cue and 3 of his Lake Salvage shafts.

I am going to have him make me up a 31" 12.65 diameter Kiel Wood LD shaft.

I was from Iowa and moved to Alaska as a kid in 1965. When I was looking for a cue maker after a goat rope Meucci scenario I found Pat and many on this forum sang praises about him.

They were right. In 2015 my wife and I did a 22 state road trip and stopped by Pat's shop. It was a real treat for me and it was great to meet a real world old school craftsman. He is honest and fair and will forever have my business.

His website does not do him justice and some of the snake wood and copper inlayed cues he showed me were the best!

He is not a kid any more and I hope to have a couple more cues made by him as I am not a kid either!

Hats off to the OP for one of the best league ranking systems anywhere. Wish the ACS was here in NC! Jacoby and Diveney
are definitely two of the best in the business. Never heard or read a bad comment on either...
