I am very sorry to hear this Joe. I know you and Paul were very good friends... I am so sorry for your loss. My thought and prayers go out to Paul's family and friends.

Wow, that is incredibly sad news Joe. I enjoyed talking with Paul and meeting him at SBE. The world has lost a good man and suberb butterfly cuemaker.

The Cue world has lost one of the greatest innovators of design, Paul's cues were at the top when it came to his butterfly designs. My prayers are with his family and friends, God rest his soul.

feeling sick

Paul was a great guy and always willing to do my tips/wraps with only a phone calls notice. Probably the best local cuemaker NJ had. He let people into his shop, had a passion to show his latest creation and was pushing the edge in his splicing techniques.

Heart felt condolences to his family and friends... RIP Paul.

I concur.

Paul was one of the greats. One of the most underrated guys in the industry. His cues were perplexing and intriguing ...and just downright awesome. He took butterflies and brought them to a whole new level. While he was known for his butterfly and fullsplice cues, it also goes to note that Paul did some SUPER clean pointwork. His cues were stellar and completely one of a kind.

Paul was a quiet guy and at times, a little quirky. But it kinda made him even more interesting. He was fun to talk to and great to be around because he was super-laid back and also extremely humble. I was fortunate enough to own one of his cues featured in Inside Pool Magazine's article on him. I was STUPID to trade it away.

Paul was amazing. His cues were amazing. He is going to be SORELY missed.

Joe, I know you and Paul were VERY close. You have my condolences and both you and Paul's family will be in my prayers.

Man, this is terrible news, Joe....I'm so sorry to hear this. The cue world has lost another fine man. Paul was a butterfly master and made really nice playing cues....he was not too shabby with a leather wrap either (some of the best I've ever seen). Our deepest condolences to Paul's family and friends. Thoughts and prayers will be with you all up in NJ.

Sean

Terrible news :(
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Out of curiosity, what was the cause of his death?
Sincerely,
Tony

Thanks.. and I'll pass it all on. When I know of the arrangements I will post them up.

I will miss going to his shop and talking cues, politics, knives and pool players.. he was working on some great things the last couple of months. He was in his "experimental" stage on some new splices.

Godspeed Paul. You will be missed.

I think the work Paul did was just mind-boggling. The techniques he used, and the designs he created were just unmatched.

Prayers to his family and friends.
