The blue-book lists these cues as $250 in GREAT shape, but I've never seen one, nor have I seen any for sale. I tried to find one for sale in Pittsburgh last weekend cause' I'd like to try one out sometime, but nobody knew of one for sale. Anybody here know of one for sale or have any pics of them I can see?

Duke,
Unfortunately this is one where the Blue Book is way off. You will have a real tough time getting a Mottey SP for $250, but I wish you the best of luck.

I have a couple. One is brand new unchalked. $550 shipped. If you are interested send me your e-mail address and I will send you some pics. My last couple attempts of posting pics on the forum did'nt work for some reason (pilot error I'm sure).

I sold a Mottey break jump sneaky to "Mottey Fan" I believe it was for $650 shipped. I wish I could find them for $250... That would be a dream. :D Matter of fact it's my avatar picture. The Mottey break jump sneaky.

Mottey sp.

I bought my Mottey sp back in 1992. I lucked out and won a tourney and they had one in the display case. It was 225. Spent my winnings on the cue. I had a shaft made for it for 125. It now resides in my collectors case. Oh to find another for 225.

I played with the cue for almost 3 years. They play like a dream. Throw an ivory ferule on the puppy and its amazing.

Nope its not for sale. Just reminiscing about the good old days.

So do I, Andy. Also, it has not been very many years since I could pick up all the Frey SPs that I wanted for $100-125. Wish I would have bought all that were offered to me....oh well.
