Paypal Question about a dispute

So I filed a dispute on paypal because there was no return contact from the seller and it had been two weeks, now they say they can not ship the cues because paypal is holding all of there funds? Does paypal freeze all of your funds or just the amount of the purchase? This is just a dispute not a claim. thanks for any help. Nate.

As soon as you file a dispute with Paypal, they will immediately freeze the money, up to the amount of the purchase.

They will freeze the amount of funds involved with the disputed transaction until the the dispute is resolved. Pretty much, they will make the seller show proof of shipment.

Thanks, the seller is claiming they have frozen all of his money, says its $6000, something fishy is going on so I think its time to move the dispute to a claim., My purchase was for $400, Nate.
 
Expect PayPal to freeze/ hold fund for 30 days before release fund. But then it could alway take longer. Depend on claim or other actions!
