Hey guys,

I will be in Pensacola this weekend and I'm looking to shoot some pool, most likely will visit John Schmidt's room. I am staying on that strip island in south Pensacola by the beach....don't know of any other pool rooms if but anyone else does, please let me know.

I won't be bringing my cues but I'm still looking for cheap match-ups / matchups for fun. Interested AZers please PM me, I'll be good for meeting up or whatever. I'll play anything but 1H.

I think there is a tournament in Ft. Walton Beach that weekend, check it out!

Pensacola action

I'm sure Actionhound might be willing to give you some action if you give him the same payment terms Jay Helfert has.

Thanks John and Easy-e...I just called starcade and yes they have it going on from noon time onwards....unfortunately my flight comes in at about 2 pm or so...so I doubt I will get to play, but I will see if I can change it, would be awesome to play in a FL tourney!

My offer still stands for whoever wants to play in pensacola, I will play with the right spots, but only cheap sets!

When is the last time you were at a tournament that started on time?:D

I don't think ever! Im getting in to PNS at 1pm....I think even if I were to drive fast, I'd get there at about 2 pm or so...I just called Starcade and they said they were gonna start at about 12...I prolly will be too late then!

I Mapquested the route from an Address near the Pensacola Airport that said it is about 45 miles to Starcade in Ft Walton Beach, in 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Realistically on a Saturday afternoon, considering there are probably atleast 35 stop lights in that route and that several parts of that route the speed limit is 35 or 45 mph, it could take up to two hours.

Traffic usually flows well unless there is a wreck but I would advise sticking close to the speed limit, especially getting off the three mile bridge into Gulf Breeze and while you're on Pensacola Beach.

Have fun! If I'm around, either at Starcade or Nine Mile Billiards, I'll either be walking with a crutch, hobbling with a pool cue or in my wheelchair.

Telephone Robin and ask him if you wire the money today, can he hold up your match until 2 pm? It wouldn't hurt to try.

If you do show up at the tournament and if I make it to the tournament, please introduce yourself to me. Robin can point me out to you.
