Perfect Aim....Free Phone lessons..........

Hey Dub, just give him a call, and he will walk you through it. If the "program" is for you after the call, then if you want you can purchase the DVD since you know it will help you a lot. But from what Gene told me, if you don't want to buy the DVD after the free phone call, no hard feelings.... But I would not steer you wrong.... if I didn't like what he had to say, I would have just not posted anything here, and let the thread die on it's own.... you won't be dissappointed.....

I"m gonna buy the DVD just to have the resource available, never know when Gene is going to leave Chicago..... though it appears he might be here for a while...

I'm thrilled to see your account of a face-to-face with Geno. I've had a positive opinion of him from reading his stuff here over the last couple of years, and getting your testimonial speaks volumes to me.

The only reason I haven't set anything up with Geno yet is the fact that I do not have a table at home, and thus I'd have to schedule something with him when I could be at a table at the club I play at, and be uninterrupted. Not an easy thing, sadly.

I will come up with a time, darn it.

Great....glad to hear it. It should help your game. He actually worked with a few other folks a few weeks ago, but I missed the night he came in, and he was working with a few of ther good players, and one is kind of an older guy, about 60, he's nice, but kinda grumpy, and I was shocked that he was willing to listen and take tips from Gene, but appears he liked what he heard.... I"m still shocked on that one......I would've bet against that one and lost big !!! Good Luck,

LOL.... no, the other one :) I guess he worked a little with Randy, and I was surpised Randy would be open to it.....but he was.... Good for him. As good as Randy shoots, he wants to shoot better...... His biggest weakness is the thin cut shots, though like you he doesn't have many "weak" spots to begin with... and I can use his name cause ain't no way in hell he knows what AZB is !!! see ya, RJ

Funny when I first met Randy a couple years ago he was kind of grumpy. I decided to kill him with kindness and it worked, we are both respectful and friendly towards each other. His wife had some pretty serious health issues at the time and he was pretty stressed out over it. Glad he opened up to Geno and hope it does not make him to much better, LOL!

Hi there JR,

My work is done in Chicago with Comcast. Wed I'll be in Milwaukee with Time Warner.

Romines will be my home base there. Close enough to Chicago tough that players can drive up for a lesson.

Right now I'm in Eau Claire for the weekend giving long awaited lessons. Got a few to do in Minnesota.

It was fun and Thanks Geno............

Hi there everyone,

Back in Eau Claire for now working on the new Perfect Aim video. Also giving some needed personal lessons while I'm here.

Also, still doing the free phone lessons.

Call anytime. 715-563-8712.

Looking forward to working with everyone that calls. I'm back to doing pool and teaching full time again.

Don't miss out.

Amazing !!!!

After a long layoff from pool I decided to start playing again, I could never seem to get my game back to anywhere close to where I was playing when I was playing what I thought was very well. I pulled out all of my books and videos that ive gotten throughout the years, videos of lessons I have taken from various instructors and nothing seemed to get me back on track, hours and hours of drills nothing was working. I started our new session of our pool league not even wanting to play because it just wasnt fun anymore. A few weeks ago I decided to give up, and my fiance talked me into taking a break for a week or two, she told me maybe I should try something different. Ive been carrying Genes number in my wallet for a few months and finally called him Tuesday afternoon. I told him how ive been struggling and without hesitation he said dont worry, we can fix that. So he explained the aiming system to me and had me do some shots and within the first 10 mins, it clicked, I was seeing things so much clearer and everything fell into place, I was making shots I struggled with for years like they were a breeze. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood everything so I could continue to improve my game. Well needless to say I spent several hours that afternoon in the poolroom and was making shots easier than I ever have before. That night I was asked to play a race to seven in 9 ball by a player in the room, hes the same skill level in our league and has been getting the best of me because I havent been playing very well,,,,UNTIL NOW, I put a 6 pack on him and beat him 7-1. He asked me what happened to me and I just smiled. Last night was league night, I was playing someone who is a skill level higher than me, it was a race to 6, he won the lag and broke and ran the first 2 racks then had a dry break and that was all i needed. I ran out that game then had a 8 on the break and broke and ran the next 3 games, I ended up winning 6-2. It has given me the confidence I was lacking when I came up to the table, as well as a new desire to continue playing again. ANYONE who wants to bring their game to the next level should make the phone call and let Gene do his magic. I cant thank you enough Gene for taking the time to help me out. Guys this is the real deal.

I called Gene today

first of all, I really like the way I aim. I know how to aim and I trust my stroke.
At my best all I need to do is three things

1 aim
2 don't move
3 let the stroke make the shot.

I should add, after 2, I am done. the stroke makes the shot all by itself...
that could be a whole nother thread right there. but not right now.

So it was hard for me to make the call to Gene. I don't like change.
But I needed to know. Could it be I was doing it all wrong?

Gene worked with me a good half hour, and it could be my head was about 1/4 inch away from where it really needs to be for my eyes to properly see the shots. Small thing. or is it a big thing? I don't know. I guess in time we shall see.
thx for the lesson Gene. Good luck in the tournament you are playing today. I like your chances,
steven

WOW! That's some resurrection in your pool game.

Gene Albrecht keeps winning them over one player at a time. Every time I read about a NEW and different player telling of their improved play after taking a lesson with Gene, it makes me very happy. I knew he had something special going on and I'm glad he stayed with AZ Billiards forum to share his special knowledge.

Hey Gene I gave you a call earlier and left a voice mail. Im going to the pool hall around 5pm today hopefully you are available i read a lot of good things!

Hi there,

Great Phone lesson after video yesterday.......

Hi there Joey and thanks,

Just wanted to share a great experience yesterday.

I got a call from Larry from NC. He had bought Stans pro one and Perfect Aim. he told me that he had trouble understanding both videos.

After he called me for the free followup phone lesson he knew exactly how Perfect Aim worked and expressed his satisfaction with what he had learned. It only took about 15 minutes and the rest was history. The answers he was looking for were there.

And if you read this post Larry feel free to comment. Hopefully it will help encourage everyone that gets the video to call for the followup. I feel it is a must to make sure a player has it right.

I can't say it enough. Call, call, call. Even if you think you understand it fully, after the call you will know that you made the best investment in your pool game possible.

Thanks Larry Looking forward to hearing your followup report. I'm sure it will be good.

After various schedule conflicts (and an unexpected nap ), I finally got to spend some time with Gene on the phone the other night. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed. Being left eye dominant and right handed, I had difficulty locking in the shot from setup to getting down to shoot. The aiming point always seemed to move. As a result, I was pretty inconsistent. I could run 7-8 balls beautifully then miss an "easy" shot and not know why. Within the first five minutes of being on the phone with Gene my problem was corrected. I can now see my aiming point all the way and it doesn't move! I am pocketing more balls and playing better. It did take a couple days of practice to get comfortable with the changes and I think I am only going to get better as I master Gene's technique. If you haven't given Gene a call, you should. Especially if you are left eye dominant and shoot right handed. A phone call could change your game! Thanks for your help, Gene.

Gene can help anyone's game regardless of your eye dominance or whether you shoot right handed or left handed.:yeah:

I just took a lesson from Gene and it helped.

But that's not what I want to talk about...

He was giving free, 10 minute lessons at Big Dogs this past week. I watched maybe 4 or 5 Persons take those. One was a young girl.

After some short instructions, Gene set up a long straight, corner to corner shot (9 ft Diamonds with tight pockets) and had her shoot it.

Bam! Again. Bam! Split the pocket. Again. Bam!

I quit watching the ball after the first one she made and, instead, watched the girl's face. After a couple of made shots, a smile broke out on her face like she'd just won the lottery.

I told the guy next to me: THAT is how pool grows. Not a big money guy, not gambling, not whatever. THAT is how pool will grow.

She left the lesson with that smile stuck on her face.
