Hi there and off on a different note.

Dave, Have you or anyone else seen Jeff Carter play lately. He plays pretty good.

I had to play him the third match at the ACS tourny at Oshkosh. I just watched for 5 racks. Three 9 ball breaks and 2 runs and I'm down 5-0. He broke dry and I ran 3 but scratched on the next break.

Th th th thats all folks as I think it was porky pig used to say if I remember right.

Great tournament here at the Varsity Club in Oshkosh, Wi.

I forgot how many great players we have here. It's gonna be tough to get through this losers bracket but I want another crack at Jeff.

I just want to clear something up about this statement. Efren never said he learns from hacks.

When asked about all the great shots he knows he said that he notices the fluke shots when bangers play and then goes to the table to figure out how to do those shots on purpose.

It's kind of like when a scientist observes an event and then studies it to understand how it happens and to be able to duplicate it at will if they can.

Effie's statement has no bearing on learning to play pool from any other person. In fact it's a very advanced self-help method to teach yourself to do things that make people call you the Magician.
